It might appear that I have no reason to delay getting started, no reason other than the allergies or cold germs or whatever affliction that seems to visit me each January, making me squint out through water-soaked eyelids and stuffing my head with goo.
But I actually have a very good reason for delay--our excellent little boy, Coach, has been matched and we get to see him and his new partner and wonderful trainer tomorrow morning. We couldn't be more proud and excited knowing that Coach will be a working guide dog.
After tomorrow life will get back to normal and I will get started on the first project of three: the new bridge for the koi pond. If I feel like it...
